Welcome to Hopewell Church!

Discovering the right church can be challenging.
We understand the many concerns that you may have about visiting a new church. To alleviate some of these concerns, below are some answers to a few questions you might have:

"What time are your services?"
Hopewell Church gathers at 11:00 a.m. to worship in a blended service offering both traditional hymns and modern praise songs in worship to God. Therefore, whether you prefer traditional hymns or more contemporary worship songs, you'll find that our service fits your worship style.  Special services and special speakers and music are provided throughout the year, i.e., Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, etc.

"What should I wear?"
We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to focus more on the service than what you wear. It's not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and short-sleeved shirts in the summertime. Others prefer to put on their "Sunday best still," and that's fine too! We welcome you no matter how you dress.

"Where do my children go?"
Children are always welcome to participate in worship at Hopewell!!!  The greeter will have a "Children's Packet" available at the door which includes crayons and books that kids can enjoy quietly.  Many children love to participate as the congregation recites the Lord's Prayer, or join in hymns.  Family worship introduces your child to a treasure that will last for eternity!

If your child is not ready to participate in the worship service, Hopewell offers Children's Church during the 11:00 a.m. service, which begins directly after the Children's Message. In Children's Church, the children sing, craft, play, and learn about the Bible—all at their level!!

The nursery is usually available on Sundays. When you arrive, check with the greeter for the nursery's status.

"What is our music like?"
Our music director, Ellen Stephenson, leads an adult choir and leads the congregation in traditional hymns and modern praise and worship. Each third Sunday, the Hopewell Praise Team leads us in worship.

"Am I expected to put money in the offering?"
If you visit with us, we don't expect you to contribute to the offering, but you are more than welcome to if you desire.

If you consider Hopewell your church home, we'd love for you to consider prayerfully giving to further Hopewell's ministry. You can give by check or cash during the service, online through the church website, or by texting "Give" to 866.863-0718.

"What opportunities are there for visitors to get involved with Hopewell?"
Hopewell provides small group opportunities before the 11 a.m. service beginning at 9:30 with light refreshments. In addition, we have a Men's Bible Study on Sundays at 5 p.m. and an adult Bible Study on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. We also provide ministry volunteer opportunities for guests and members alike throughout the week. There are also opportunities to be a part of the service and serve with our audio/visual team.

Join us; you will be welcome in whatever program you decide to be involved in. Please check out our groups on our website for more information.
