The Bible: The Scriptures, which entail the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament, are the immutable, inerrant, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (Isaiah 40:8, 2 Tim. 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Heb. 4:12).
The Trinity: One true God existing in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Each person is co-equal in authority, distinct in their roles, and each deserving of our worship (2 Cor. 13:14, Matt. 28:19). God the Father: The first person of the Trinity who is the creator of all things and directs and orders all things for His will. He is omniscient (all-knowing), omnipresent (ever-present), and omnipotent (all-powerful) and is actively involved with His creation (Gen. 1:1, Ps. 89:11, Ps. 90:2, Eph. 4:6).
Jesus: He is the second person of the Trinity and the only begotten Son of God. He is eternal and through Him, all things were made. He is God incarnate, born of a virgin and conceived by the Holy Spirit. He was predestined to be the One whom all humanity shall be saved. He is fully God and fully human who, having lived a sinless life, was crucified, died an atoning death for all humanity, was buried, and resurrected from the dead and sits at the right hand of the Father (Isaiah 7:14, John 1:1-4, 14-18, Mark 1:18, Col. 2:9, Heb. 1:3).
Holy Spirit: The third person of the Trinity sent to glorify Jesus and to sanctify the believer. Also eternal, the Holy Spirit was intimately involved with the creation of the world and the inspiration of the Holy Word of God. Through the Holy Spirit, unbelievers are convicted and justified upon repentance and surrendering to the Lord Jesus (Gen. 1:2, 26, John 14:26, 16:8, Rom. 8:26, Titus 3:5).
Salvation: Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, died for our sins as the only sufficient sacrifice. Through His death, the atonement of sins for all mankind was offered through His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is available to all, yet only experienced by God’s grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, and is not obtainable by works. Those accepting this free gift are born again and regenerated into a new creation. Once accepted, the believer’s salvation is assured as long as they continue in the faith. (John 3:16, Rom. 3:28, 5:1, Eph. 1:3-5, 2:8-9, Col. 1:21-23).
Church: Is the body of Christ for which He is the head. Through Peter, Jesus established His church through which God accomplishes His work in this present age. The church is comprised of all believers who have received every spiritual blessing at conversion and given spiritual gifts to use for the common good and the to the glory of God (Matt. 16:18, Acts 1:8, 2:1-4, 1 Cor. 12:7, 12-13, 1 Peter 4:10-11).
