Hopewell Methodist Church is honored to announce that our beloved Pastor Bob is now The Reverend Doctor Robert A. Moseley, Jr.  After many months of grueling research and study, including  the presentation of an eight-week sermon series and weekly questionnaires and weekly meetings of a focused study group, Pastor Bob spent many hours compiling his data and completing his Doctoral Thesis paper.  On April 7, 2025 he sucessfully defended his thesis to the board at Liberty University.  On April 13, 2026, Liberty conferred the degree of Doctorate of Divinity in Expository Preaching upon him.  In his own words, "it was only through the grace of God and faithful, sacrificial support of his loving wife, Anne, that this was possible."  

Rev. Dr. Bob, your Hopewell family congratulates you on this major accomplishment and is so proud of all you have done through God's grace.  We recognize that during this time of study and research, you faithfully continued to serve our busy church with integrity, wisdom, and passion.  We are grateful for your Godly leadership, your compassion, your care, and your love.  

Once again, CONGRATULATIONS!  We look forward to watching where God leads you in the future, and wish you the very best!
